Dave Patterson, author of Euphoria: Ten Maine Stories, holds an MA from the Bread Loaf School of English and an MFA from the University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast program. A winner of the Bread Loaf Freeman Fiction Award and a Maine Literary Award for Short Fiction, his stories, essays, and interviews have appeared in Salon, Slice Magazine, Hot Metal Bridge, Maine Magazine, The Masters Review, among others. He is the author of the novel, Soon the Light Will be Perfect, which the New York Public Library declared, “Devastating, beautiful, worth it.” He lives in Cape Elizabeth with his wife and two children.
